Transfer deadline day signing Ibrahim Sangare has been spotted in Nottingham Forest colours for the first time. The player has been hard at work in training after signing from PSV with minutes of the transfer window remaining.

Forest managed to get a deal for the 25-year-old over the line shortly after Brennan Johnson signed for Tottenham. That departure freed up the funds for a glut of new signings and now Sangare will likely become integral.

The Reds stunned supporters by signing the Ivory Coast international. He was sought-after in the summer transfer window, with PSG, Bayern Munich and Liverpool all keen to sign him.

Forest need to continue their fine run of form tomorrow night when they play Burnley on home soil. The Reds beat Chelsea last time out and tomorrow they will perhaps have some of the new signings available – including Sangare.

The Reds player has now been spotted in training. Forest posted a message on Instagram, shortly after reaching one million followers and it showed Sangare worked hard in training.

Sangare now spotted in Forest training ahead of Burnley clash

The player is set to become a big player for Forest this season. He leaves PSV after being an integral performer for them since his 2020 arrival from Toulouse.

Sangare helped PSV reach the Champions League group stages before joining Forest. They beat Rangers over two legs and it would have been easy for him to stay with the Eredivisie outfit.

Instead, he’s headed to the Premier League. He will now take centre-stage in the Forest midfielder and hopefully, he can start making a big impact on the Premier League from the outset.

After beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last time out, Steve Cooper has a bit of a conundrum. He will want to show faith to the players who played in the capital but surely Sangare will come into the starting eleven.
