Nottingham Forest forward Taiwo Awoniyi has taken his consecutive goal contribution tally to nine games after his assist against Burnley last night.
The forward has scored or assisted in nine consecutive Premier League games, stretching back to Southampton at home last season.
Nigerian striker Awoniyi is now just two games off joining the top five in PL history alongside the likes of Mesut Ozil, Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Jamie Vardy.
Leicester City striker Vardy currently holds the record with 15 games consecutively with a goal or an assist.
However, Awoniyi may face a tough ask to continue his record, as the Reds face Manchester City away on Saturday.

His assist for debutant Callum Hudson-Odoi last night was his latest contribution for Steve Cooper’s side.
The Nigerian really has become a clinical striker, with his pace and power a real handful for any Premier League defender.

He’s now starting to add assists to his game, making him a real all-round threat for any side that tries to stop him.
If he stays fit, there is no reason why he can’t hit 20 goals this season.
