Willy Boly is a player who has impressed so far this season for Nottingham Forest, but he is topping the charts in a surprising area that fans may not expect.
The 32-year-old defender has been solid at the back, but his defensive qualities don’t see him top of the Reds’ tally.
Boly has had five shots on target so far this campaign, the most of any player in Steve Cooper’s squad.
Anthony Elanga is second with four, but top scorer Taiwo Awoniyi is third with three shots on target, meaning the striker has scored with every shot on target he has taken this campaign.

Willy Boly, the defender or striker?
The former Wolves man has been very impressive since his arrival at the City Ground last summer.
He brings an aerial presence at the back, which can be handy in attack as demonstrated in his tally of five shots on target so far this season.
His composure on the ball is something which is vital at the back for Cooper’s side, a component of his game that has seen him become a first-team regular.
However, this season he has taken his performances to the next level.

The defender displayed a man-of-the-match performance against Chelsea during the 1-0 victory, helping maintain the Reds’ only clean sheet so far this campaign.
He missed the 1-1 draw against Burnley last Monday, with Cooper’s side desperately missing the 32-year-old’s presence.
No one could’ve imagined the impact Boly would’ve had in both areas of the pitch, but hopefully, he can keep up his good performances to help the club steer clear of any relegation battle this season.
