Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper has praised defender Harry Toffolo ahead of the trip to face West Ham United on Sunday.
The 28-year-old has impressed for the Reds in recent weeks, with the defender picking up two assists against Aston Villa last weekend.
Toffolo, who joined Forest last season alongside Lewis O’Brien, has waited patiently for his opportunity to feature having spent most of last season as backup to Renan Lodi.
However, this season the former Huddersfield Town man looks to be a different player with Cooper trusting him as the Reds’ starting left-back.
Cooper on Harry Toffolo
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Cooper spoke in depth about Toffolo – labelling the 28-year-old as the ‘ultimate professional’.
“He’s the ultimate professional. He’s as good as it gets in terms of teamwork and doing what is right for the team.

“Harry’s doing nothing different since the day he walked through the door in terms of his approach to his work.
“It’s nice to see him having a run of games, with his two assists last week – he is a full-back that can contribute with his crosses in the final third.
“We enjoy working with him, he’s a good character, well-liked and puts everything but himself first and we love working with him.”
Toffolo must start again this weekend
Sunday’s performance was arguably Toffolo’s best display in a Forest shirt with his two assists for Ola Aina and Orel Mangala.
On and off the pitch, the 28-year-old is just a great guy – he knows what it means to be a part of the football club with him and his family embracing life at the club.
He wasn’t everyone’s favourite player last season, but Toffolo has really progressed this season with his performances a level above anything he produced last season.
