Nottingham Forest defender Scott McKenna has been a brilliant player for the club since his arrival from Aberdeen in 2020.
The 27-year-old cost the Reds around £3.5 million, with the Scottish international crucial for Steve Cooper in the promotion-winning campaign.
However, since promotion to the Premier League McKenna has only been utilised as a squad player with multiple players ahead of him in the pecking order.
McKenna is out of contract at the end of the campaign, with the Reds potentially missing a trick with the defender.

Forest could lose McKenna for free
Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Fenerbache are interested in signing the defender in January, as his Forest contract enters the last six months.

However, with the Turkish side being outside the United Kingdom, they can agree a deal with the 27-year-old this January.
The deal would see McKenna join Fenerbache on a pre-contract agreement joining on the 1st of July on a free transfer.
The Reds certainly have got their hands tied behind their back this window, with the club unable to demand a fee for the Scottish international should he want to join the Turkish club.
Forest must try and get a fee for McKenna
McKenna has made over 100 appearances for the Reds since his arrival. He’s been an exceptional servant for Forest and it would be a complete disaster to see him leave the club for free next summer.
It is unknown if any British sides are interested in signing the former Aberdeen man, but if they are the Reds must negotiate a reasonable fee for the 27-year-old.
With the qualities that he possesses, other clubs will surely be coming forward to try and sign him before the conclusion of the January window, with Cooper’s side needing to stand firm on any price tag they have for the defender.
