Nottingham Forest have been told how much they would have to pay to sign Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho permanently this January.
The 23-year-old has previously been linked with a move to rejoin Steve Cooper at the City Ground after previously working with the Forest boss at youth level for England.
Sancho hasn’t played under Erik ten Hag since August after refusing to apologise for a social media post, in which the winger claimed he was the ‘scapegoat‘ at Old Trafford.
Cooper is still said to be a massive fan of the winger, with Sancho potentially following in Callum Hudson-Odoi’s footsteps in joining the Reds to try and get his career back on track.

Manchester United set Jadon Sancho price tag
In a report released by The Mirror, it claims that the Red Devils will be holding out for at least £50 million for Sancho this January.

United believe that although he may have no future at Old Trafford, the 23-year-old still has a massive future in football – with Sancho still having a lot of potential.
With Sancho having a £50 million price tag, it is highly unlikely the Reds will be making a move for the United winger.
The price set is £20 million more than the club-record deal that the club paid for Ibrahim Sangare on deadline day in the summer.
Forest move for Sancho highly unlikely
With Cooper’s side being priced out of a move for the winger, they can’t even pursue a loan deal for the 23-year-old.
Each Premier League are allowed two domestic loans from another top-flight side, with Forest already filling both of those slots.
Andrey Santos is currently on loan from Chelsea with Nuno Tavares on loan from Arsenal, with the pair at the City Ground until the end of the season.
Although a deal to sign Sancho would be a brilliant addition for the Reds, it just seems too out of reach at the minute.
