Chris Sutton has given his prediction of the Premier League match between Nottingham Forest and Brighton and Hove Albion.

The BBC Sport pundit has given his verdict on how the match at the City Ground will pan out.

So, what has Chris Sutton said about the game between Nottingham Forest and Brighton and Hove Albion? Let’s take a look.

What’s the story?

Well, Nottingham Forest will lock horns with Brighton and Hove Albion at the City Ground in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Former Chelsea and Aston Villa striker striker Chris Sutton believes that the match will end in a 1-1 draw.

The BBC Sport pundit has noted how good Forest are at home.

Sutton told BBC Sport: “Brighton have drawn four of their past five league games and that is the outcome I am going with this time too. At this rate I think I’m going to go for a 1-1 scoreline in pretty much all of the games.

“Results-wise, the Seagulls are definitely less reliable than they were last season and Kaoru Mitoma’s injury is a big blow.

“I was going to back Brighton to nick the points but, with Mitoma out, I think Forest have more of a chance, especially at home, where they are still unbeaten.

“Sutton’s prediction: 1-1.”

Nottingham Forest could win vs Brighton and Hove Albion at City Ground

In my view, Nottingham Forest could be able to win against Brighton and Hove Albion at the City Ground in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Yes, Brighton are a good team, but Forest do have a decent side as well. After all, Steve Cooper’s side have defeated Chelsea and Aston Villa already in the Premier League this season.

I believe that Forest could take all three points from the match against Brighton. The Seagulls have shown that they are vulnerable defensively.

Remember how Brighton got hammered 6-1 by Aston Villa at Villa Park in the Premier League in September?

Now, I am not saying that Forest will win big against the Seagulls. My point is that despite all the plaudits that Brighton and their manager Roberto De Zerbi are getting at the moment, they are not perfect.

Many pundits wrote off Forest at the start of the season. And, like Alan Shearer, they are all eating their words now.
