Nottingham Forest lost 3-2 to Brighton yesterday and now Steve Cooper is seemingly under pressure once again.
The Reds took the lead in the third minute against the Seagulls when Anthony Elanga headed home.
Evan Ferguson and Joao Pedro turned the game on its head though, with Brighton leading at half-time.
Things didn’t get any better in the second half and another Pedro goal consigned Forest to another defeat.
Morgan Gibbs-White did pull one back but it proved to be in vain for Forest and for Cooper.
Cooper under pressure at Forest
On two different occasions last season, It was reported that managers were being lined up to replace Cooper.
Evangelos Marinakis remained loyal, despite Forest being linked with Patrick Viera and Marcelino during the campaign.

According to the Daily Mail, Cooper is now under pressure once again.
Forest slipped to another defeat yesterday, although it was their first on home soil during 2023/24.
The performance saw Forest have a go in the second half but until they went 3-1 down, they were extremely passive.
Cooper can’t take all of the responsibility but the style of play that currently appears too bland is on him.
Cooper needs results and quickly
Forest play Everton, Fulham and Wolves next, with Cooper needing some wins to ease the pressure.
The Reds are still eight points clear of the relegation zone in the Premier League but Marinakis is super ambitious.
He won’t accept steady progression and will see this season as an opportunity to really kick on.
Luton claimed a big win yesterday and they’re only four points below Forest right now.
It’s perhaps not the defeats that are worrying Marinakis so much about Cooper.
The performances are getting worse and it’s not unfair to say that Forest have been ordinary at home all season.
Cooper likely retains the backing of the majority of supporters but now the clock is ticking and wins are required quickly.
