The Nottingham Forest B-Team were watched by 15 EFL clubs as they beat Accrington in the EFL Trophy last week.
Two stars are thought to be in line for loans in January, with Julian Larsson and Ateef Konate in the sights of several clubs.
Forest are playing in the EFL Trophy for the first time this season. The Reds will face Doncaster in the first knockout round after progressing from the group stages.
Warren Joyce’s team were impressive in winning two games. They lost to Harrogate in the first outing but then claimed wins against Carlisle and Accrington.
Two Forest starlets in demand
It’s quite remarkable that 15 clubs turned up to watch the Forest B-Team last week and it highlights that the academy is still going strong.
The two players who are in demand are Larsson and Konate, according to The Sun.
Both would likely be available for loan in January as they look to get accustomed to men’s football.

Larsson is a player who has been praised by Andy Reid previously. He called him ‘fantastic’ back in 2022 and his goal against Accrington was quality.
Konate has actually made a first-team outing at Forest. He came off the bench in a 3-0 win over Barnsley during the promotion season of 2021/22.
Forest B-Team stars are doing the club proud
It’s fair to say that plenty of EFL clubs use the EFL Trophy as a chance to blood their youngsters.
Carlisle boss Paul Simpson wasn’t impressed with his troops after Forest beat them, however, and wanted the win.
He gave praise to Forest youngster Sam Collins during that game and it’s nice to see the academy getting this opportunity in the competition.
The Forest B-Team will face another tough test against Doncaster in the knockout stages.
However, given how the youngsters have done so far in the competition, you wouldn’t bet against them pulling off another shock result.
