Paul Merson has been explaining who he thinks will win tomorrow night when Nottingham Forest meet Fulham.
The Reds desperately need a win and right now they’ve won just once during the last 10 games.
Forest were beaten 1-0 by Everton at the City Ground on Saturday making it two home defeats on the trot.
Steve Cooper has come under fire in recent weeks, with speculation surfacing after a 3-1 defeat to Brighton recently.
Merson makes Fulham vs Nottingham Forest prediction
Forest need something to change and it’s time for the team to roll up their sleeves and get down to work.
Given how many good players are in the squad, it’s not unfair to say that Forest are underachieving.
Cooper will know that too and he will be desperate for Forest to pick up a strong result at Fulham.
Merson is expecting a close one and he’s backing Forest to take a positive result back to the East Midlands.

He told Sportskeeda: “With three teams already down in the relegation zone, I think Nottingham Forest will get away with it this season. They’re averaging less than a point per game at the moment, but they’ll be alright.
“I think both teams will survive in the Premier League this season. If Fulham keep scoring goals, they’ll do well. I’m going to go with a draw for this fixture.”
Merson backs Reds for strong point
The pundit has gone for a 1-1 draw when the two teams meet tomorrow night at Craven Cottage.
Cooper would probably take that result right now and it would certainly stop the rot.
Forest are desperate not to get embroiled in another dog fight for relegation this season.
After buying another 13 players in the summer, Evangelos Marinakis simply won’t accept another relegation fight.
Things should be so much more comfortable this season but Forest have dropped 11 points from winning positions.
Hopefully, things can turn around very soon and a morale-boosting result or two can occur in the coming weeks.
