This could be a last hurrah for Steve Cooper unless he can conjure up a victory of epic proportion this evening.
For a few weeks, speculation has been rife over his future and after three successive defeats, he’s in a bit of trouble.
Forest have won just once in the last 10 games and they desperately need a big result this evening.
On Saturday, the performance against Everton simply wasn’t good enough and the fans booed at the end.
The week previous, Forest lost to Brighton and that game proved more frustrating before the Reds led.
All season long, it’s been a bit of a struggle for Forest in truth as they look for a winning formula.
Cooper was given another 13 new players to blend in and he has struggled to get them playing together.
Earlier in the campaign, it looked as though things would go quite well but the last 10 games have been rough.
Fulham will come into tonight’s game buoyed by their performance against Liverpool on Sunday.
They should have claimed at least a point from that one but lost after conceding twice in the closing stages.
At the moment, Fulham sit a place above Forest in the Premier League table with two more point.
