Dimitar Berbatov has sent a warning to Nottingham Forest after the sacking of Steve Cooper.

The former Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United striker has also predicted how Forest will fare against Bournemouth at the City Ground this weekend.

So, what has Dimitar Berbatov said about Nottingham Forest? Let’s take a look.

Dimitar Berbatov warns Nottingham Forest ahead of Bournemouth game

Well, Nottingham Forest will take on Bournemouth at the City Ground in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

It will be Nuno’s first game in charge of Forest. The Reds recently appointed the former Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur manager as their new head coach. It came after the sacking of Steve Cooper.

The pundit has also predicted the Premier League game between Forest and Bournemouth this weekend to end in a 1-1 draw.

Berbatov told Metro: “Nottingham Forest have a big cushion on the teams below them, but they can’t allow themselves to think they’re safe in any way. It will be the new manager’s first game, so who knows what team he will choose or how the fans will react. I’ll go for a draw here.

“Prediction: 1-1.”

No one at Nottingham Forest is getting complacent

I understand why Dimitar Berbatov is warning Nottingham Forest, but I am pretty sure that no one at the club is getting complacent.

After all, the Reds have just sacked a manager who kept them in the Premier League last season.

So, it is clear that the Forest hierarchy are not thinking that the team are safe from getting relegated. They made the managerial change because they were/are worried.

Everyone can see the Premier League table. Forest are five points above Luton Town, who are third from bottom and have a game in hand. The Reds have lost five of their last six Premier League matches.
