Nottingham Forest defeated West Ham 2-0 at the City Ground and Callum Hudson-Odoi was simply outstanding.

The Reds won the clash thanks to goals from Taiwo Awoniyi and Hudson-Odoi – with both goals coming in stoppage time at the end of each half.

Hudson-Odoi has been a bit of a slow burner at Forest but boy is he showing what a capable player he is right now.

Well, this was a performance that made a mockery of the £3 million that Forest paid Chelsea to sign Hudson-Odoi.

He was simply outstanding from the word go and ultimately he deserved the goal which he scored late in the piece.

Hudson-Odoi has taken his time to get going but he’s proving a very good piece of business from a Forest perspective.

Who Scored named the Forest winger as the Man of the Match and showcased some stats that proved his brilliance.

He was top of the pops when it came to key passes, making four throughout the contest.

Hudson-Odoi also completed 85% of his passes during the game and he was very useful in possession.

The 23-year-old scored with one of his two shots and he didn’t forget his responsibilities at the other end either with two tackles.

Hudson-Odoi is now integral under Nuno Espirito Santo

The key for Hudson-Odoi at Forest is definitely going to be staying fit. If he does that, he should fly!

Right now, there is nobody at Forest playing better than Hudson-Odoi and he’s been fantastic for weeks.

Yesterday was his third goal in as many games and his fourth for Forest in total.

Having a winger who can chip in with goals isn’t to be underestimated and Hudson-Odoi was simply outstanding during yesterday’s huge win.
