Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has given his verdict on Nottingham Forest attacking midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White.
Villa will take on Forest at Villa Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
So, what has Aston Villa boss Unai Emery said about Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White? Let’s take a look.
Unai Emery praises Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White
Well, Aston Villa will take on Nottingham Forest at Villa Park in the Premier League on Saturday.
Unai Emery’s Villa are aiming to finish in the top four of the league table this season, while Nuno’s Forest are looking to avoid the dreaded drop to the Championship.
The Villans are fourth in the Premier League table with 49 points from 25 matches, while Forest are four points above the relegation zone.
Villa have the better team and will head into the match against Forest, but manager Unai Emery is aware of the threat posed by the Reds, especially from attacking midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White.
Gibbs-White has made 22 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Forest this season. He has scored two goals and given four assists in those games.

Emery told Villa’s official website: “I respect them a lot – their coach and players. They were very, very competitive before when we played there (The City Ground) and they won.
“They are still being very, very competitive, with fresh energy from the new coach. He’s an experienced coach and tactically very good.
“They are playing trying to have a strong defensive structure and with very good transition with their wingers, with Morgan Gibbs-White and their striker.
“They are trying to improve, keeping ball possession and control the game, playing combinations. Tomorrow will be very, very difficult. My respect is for the players, the coach and for their strong tactical structure.”
My View: Morgan Gibbs-White could help Nottingham Forest beat Aston Villa
In my opinion, Morgan Gibbs-White could play a big role for Nottingham Forest against Aston Villa.
While many pundits are backing Villa to win against Forest, I think that the Reds have what it takes to win at Villa.
And, in my view, Gibbs-White will play a big part for the Reds. The £25 million (Sky Sports) former Wolverhampton Wanderers star is likely to line up as the playmaker-in-chief for the visiting team, and he will be a danger to Villa.
