Taylor Twellman has taken aim at Nottingham Forest over a lack of game time for Giovanni Reyna.

The pundit has taken to Twitter to voice his disappointment.

So, what has Twellman said about Reyna and his loan spell at Forest? Let’s take a closer look…

Twellman takes aim at Forest over Giovanni Reyna

Well, the pundit who used to play football for the USA isn’t impressed with Reyna choosing to join Forest on loan.

He was particularly suspect when Forest first added Reyna to their ranks, feeling it was the wrong move.

Now, he’s taken aim at Forest again, suggesting to his followers on Twitter that he was right all along.

Intriguingly, Twellman tweeted this after Reyna had actually been introduced by Nuno Espirito Santo.

Reyna came on for the final nine minutes as Forest chased the game in a 4-2 defeat to Aston Villa.

So far, the player has played for just 38 minutes in a Forest shirt and he will hope to earn a starting berth soon.

Forest signed Reyna amid interest from Fiorentina on a loan deal from Dortmund during the January transfer window.

Reyna will get opportunity soon

Twellman should really keep his nose out of this one given that he doesn’t really have a clue.

Forest needed to add players to compete for players and in Reyna they have a player who can do just that.

Nuno Espirito Santo will need to shuffle his pack across the final 12 Premier League games of the season and Reyna will get a chance.

Forest wouldn’t have signed the 21-year-old if he wasn’t going to play at all and his time will come.

Given that the Reds are fighting relegation at the moment, it’s important that Espirito Santo picks his moment carefully.

In the coming weeks, however, Twellman should be proved wrong with Reyna likely to get a chance.

The challenge for Reyna, when he does get a chance to start a game, is to grasp it with both hands and keep the shirt.
