Chris Sutton has predicted how Nuno’s Nottingham Forest will fare against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool at the City Ground in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The former Aston Villa striker and BBC Sport pundit has said that there will be two goals in the match.
So, what has Chris Sutton said about Nottingham Forest against Liverpool? Let’s take a look.
Chris Sutton thinks Nottingham Forest will lose to Liverpool
Well, Chris Sutton has been speaking ahead of the Premier League match between Nottingham Forest and Liverpool at the City Ground on Saturday afternoon.
The former Aston Villa and Chelsea striker has backed Liverpool to beat Forest 2-0 away from home.
The BBC Sport pundit has noted that despite talks of Forest improving under head coach Nuno, they are not winning matches and remain in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Forest are now 17th in the Premier League table with 24 points from 26 matches. Nuno’s side are four points above Luton Town, who are third from bottom and have picked up 25 games.
Liverpool are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 60 points from 26 matches, a point ahead of defending champions City, who are second and are a point above third-placed Arsenal.

Sutton told BBC Sport: “There’s been lots of praise for Liverpool’s young players this week, and rightly so after the way they played in the Carabao Cup final and then beat Southampton in the FA Cup.
“It’s been an excellent week for Jurgen Klopp, with the first trophy of the season under his belt and then seeing his side keeping alive the possibility of winning four of them this season.
“It would get even better if the likes of Mohamed Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo are fit enough to play in this game, and I feel like Liverpool are going to be hard to stop here.
“Forest were unlucky to go out of the FA Cup to Manchester United on Wednesday but they have got some work to do to get to safety in the league, especially with a possible points deduction looming, that could be announced next week.
“I keep hearing how Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are much-improved in an attacking sense. They may well have done, but it has not translated into results because they have only won once this year, and I don’t see them getting another one on Saturday.
“We are now into the run-in to the end of the season and Liverpool have already shown a great habit of finding a way to win games in recent weeks. They are riding on the crest of a wave at the moment so this one might be a bit more straightforward.
“Sutton’s prediction: 0-2.”
My View: Nottingham Forest could get something vs Liverpool
In my opinion, Nottingham Forest could get something from the match against Liverpool at the City Ground.
Yes, the Reds will head into the Premier League match as favourites, but I think that the home team could pick up a point or even three.
Forest are losing matches, but they are not getting thrashed like Burnley and Sheffield United have recently.
The Reds lost to Newcastle United by a one-goal margin, scored two goals against UEFA Champions League-chasing Aston Villa and went down 1-0 to Manchester United at the City Ground in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
