Another day and another pretty patronising rant from Chris Sutton in the direction of Nottingham Forest.
This time he’s been speaking on BBC show The Monday Night Club.
So, what has Sutton had to say about Forest now following their 1-0 defeat to Liverpool at the weekend? Let’s take a closer look…
What Chris Sutton has said about Nottingham Forest
Well, this doesn’t come as a surprise at all – with this now the second time that Sutton has weighed in on the incident that happened involving Forest.
The Nottingham-born pundit has claimed in the past that he supported Forest as a boy, although we find that hard to believe.
Sutton has missed the point completely once again and thinks Forest should get their own house in order before bemoaning match officials.
He told The Monday Night Club: “Yep, I agree with all of that. The only other thing is a deflection tactic for Nottingham Forest and their own deficiencies. All the kerfuffle over this, it’s like they went straight down the other end and scored. Liverpool didn’t.
“It’d be good if Nottingham Forest took out their anger on some of their own players when they had the opportunity to clear the ball. But, guess what, they won’t do that, they’ll just blame everybody else.”
Sutton has missed the point – Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo will be fuming
Surely, Sutton knows the game well enough by now to understand why Forest have done this.

In a sort of us against the world mentality, Forest were never going to come out and slam their own after a defeat so heartbreaking as the one on Saturday.
Nuno Espirito Santo will be angry with some of his team’s defending in the closing stages at the weekend – and he will have let the right people know.
In our view, it’s easy to understand the frustrations from Forest given that they’ve been on the wrong end of some dreadful decisions of late.
The challenge for the Reds is to use this as a siege mentality ahead of a run of games that are all very winnable.
Sutton has missed the point here and if this was a different, bigger club to Forest, his view would likely be different.
