Nottingham Forest celebrity fan Stuart Broad has taken aim at another Premier League club as the Reds await their punishment over breaching financial fair play regulations.

It’s been claimed that Forest should discover their fate today. However, the big reveal should have been on Friday – with the Premier League making the Reds wait.

So, what has Broad now said about the whole fiasco ahead of the decision? Let’s take a closer look…

The man who served England at cricket with distinction isn’t overly happy with the pending charges that currently hang over Forest.

Broad thinks it’s nothing short of a joke that Manchester City are still awaiting their punishment despite having 115 charges hanging over them.

Ahead of Forest discovering their fate, Broad took to X to explain that he finds the whole situation a little bit strange.

He said: “When are we expecting to hear the Nottingham Forest FFP hearing verdict? I’m intrigued by it all.

“How come our hearing and verdict has come before Manchester City’s? They were charged way before us, weren’t they?”

Broad makes some seriously good points

David Ornstein explained earlier today that Forest will hope their behaviour since being charged will place them in good shape for a lesser punishment.

Inside, however, the club must be raging that the Premier League have made an example of them and Everton, with City yet to face the music.

It’s frankly nothing short of a joke! The whole league is having its integrity questioned and if City get away without some sort of sanction, it really would take the proverbial.

Broad is Forest through and through. Much like the rest of the fan base, he clearly finds the whole thing a complete joke and hopefully, the Reds can move on from all of this once the punishment has been announced.
