Nottingham Forest have made an electric start to the summer transfer window with numerous players arriving and departing already.
Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side endured a turbulent 2023/24 campaign having just escaped the drop back down to the Championship.
But Forest will be looking to forget their struggles from last season by adding to their squad for the upcoming campaign.
Evangelos Marinakis has been a busy man over recent weeks with Forest battling PSR once again to get themselves the right side of the regulations.
And the business done at the City Ground has seen one familiar face react after what he’s heard.

Brennan Johnson reacts to Nottingham Forest transfer news
The Reds suffered last season through a points deduction following their financial issues which certainly hindered them in the fight for survival.
Thankfully, Nuno’s side will not have to worry about any points deductions heading their way this season following the work done in the window last month.
Selling players was required at the City Ground if Forest were to avoid any further points deductions and that is exactly what they done.
But one departure, in particular, has seen former player Brennan Johnson share his thoughts.
Forest have seen Moussa Niakhate leave this summer as he made the move to French outfit Lyon.
The Reds are said to have received an impressive £27m for the services of the centre-back which will have gone a long way to helping their financial situation.
After sharing his excitement in joining Lyon in an Instagram post, Niakhate received a response from Johnson.
“Good luck brother,” the Tottenham Hotspur forward responded.
The post also seen Neco Williams react by simply replying with two heart emojis.
Nottingham Forest making impressive moves in summer window
Considering Forest found themselves on the receiving end of a points deduction last season, it is no surprise they were keen to avoid another for the upcoming term.
But it has to be said, the way in which they have handled themselves this summer has been really impressive.
Although Forest have brought in a good amount of money through the sales of Niakhate and Orel Mangala, they may not feel they are going into the campaign any weaker.
Forest have even got themselves into a position to which they were able to spend around £35m on Newcastle United talent Elliot Anderson.
