Nottingham Forest are closing in on the signing of Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.
It was claimed late last night that there was a breakthrough and Forest had got their man in Milenkovic.
Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that Forest hope to tie up a deal to sign Milenkovic as soon as today.
The Reds have been keen to bolster their rearguard after allowing Moussa Niakhate to join Lyon at the end of last month.
Now, another report has come to light that shares how much Milenkovic will be getting paid at Forest.

Contract details emerge as Nottingham Forest close in on Nikola Milenkovic
The Reds have moved quickly to wrap this deal up with other Premier League clubs also interested in the defender.
Now, a journalist has claimed on X that Milenkovic will get paid around £67,000-a-week on a five-year deal with Forest.
He will be signing for the club for a fee of £12 million, with another £3 million likely to be included in the way of add-ons to benefit Fiorentina.
Milenkovic has been with the Serie A outfit for seven years and he’s helped them reach two European finals.
He has been the vice-captain at the club and to see him leave will surely be a wrench for the club’s loyal supporters.
Milenkovic can star at the City Ground
The man who played in all three of Serbia’s games at Euro 2024 was once billed as the heir to Nemanja Vidic’s throne.
Now, he’s set to sign for Forest and the 6ft 5in defender could be a quality addition to the Forest ranks.
It’s fair to say that a new centre-back is needed, in the wake of Niakhate departing the City Ground.
Murillo will naturally be a first-choice option, with Willy Boly and Andrew Omobamidele also in the current squad.
The 6ft 5in defender does look like a player who could come to Forest and star for many years to come, however, and it looks like an exciting addition.
Milenkovic has made 264 appearances for Fiorentina and at 26-years-old, he’s another player who fits the profile of a decent addition to the Forest ranks.
