Nottingham Forest have today announced the signing of Nikola Milenkovic who has joined the club from Serie A outfit Fiorentina.
Days of speculation have now been put to bed, with the Serbian international signing a five-year contract at the City Ground.
Italian football commentator Dario Pellegrini believes Milenkovic can be a good signing for Forest and he will quickly get to work with his teammates.
Milenkovic played in all three of Serbia’s games at Euro 2024 – including 90 minutes in a 1-0 defeat to eventual finalists England.
With the ink drying on the contract signed by Milenkovic a report from Italy has claimed how lucrative the terms offered by Forest are.

The Reds have done some pretty savvy business so far during the current off-season – and long may it continue.
Now, it looks as though the Reds have done more good business in getting a deal for Milenkovic over the line.
According to Tutto Mercato Web, the man who played 264 times for Fiorentina has signed a contract worth £48,000-a-week after tax at Forest.
That doesn’t feel bad considering some of the wages that other players are earning at the City Ground in the Premier League.
It’s been confirmed by the Reds that Milenkovic has signed a five-year deal on Trentside and this is a signing with the future in mind as well.
Milenkovic has potential to be quality Forest signing
In the grand scheme of things, £12 million is absolutely nothing and Forest have done brilliant business here.
Although Milenkovic is 26-years-old, he’s got bags of experience and has spent seven years in Serie A with Fiorentina.
The defender has experience of playing in big fixtures and helped La Viola reach back-to-back UEFA Conference League finals.
Forest are short of leaders and no doubt it won’t be long before Nuno Espirito Santo considers the defender as part of his leadership group.
This is once again a sign that Forest are keep to start operating more prudently in the transfer market.
It’s exciting that the club are keen to right a few wrongs and in our view, Milenkovic is wonderful business done by the football club.
