Anthony Elanga says he has an amazing friendship with two Nottingham Forest players.
Since his £15m switch from Manchester United last summer, Anthony Elanga has settled into life quickly at the City Ground and is now considered one of their star players.
The 22-year-old netted five times whilst laying on nine assists last term and was subjected to interest from Newcastle United earlier in the window.
Ultimately, he’s remained a Nottingham Forest player and in a recent interview, he’s shared just how happy he is in the East Midlands having formed a great friendship with two players in particular.

Anthony Elanga has great friendship with Morgan Gibbs-White and Callum Hudson-Odoi
Speaking in a recent interview with the BBC, Elanga revealed he has an amazing friendship with Morgan Gibbs-White and Callum Hudson-Odoi.
“I feel like we’ve got a great connection off the pitch as well. We’re always talking with each other, we just understand each other really well. It’s a great feeling to be able to play with those players,” the Sweden international said.
“Callum’s loud, he won’t even mind me saying that and he’d probably say I’m loud. Morgan’s loud and chilled, he has probably got that balance.
“But they’re amazing lads, I couldn’t speak more highly of them. I love playing with them, I love being with them outside the pitch and they’re just amazing.”
Anthony Elanga needs to push on
After a positive first season at the City Ground, Elanga now needs to improve his output and aim for a double-figure goal tally.
The former United man certainly has the skillset, he just needs to polish his decision-making at times and develop some composure.
