Nottingham Forest are hoping to still strengthen their squad before the summer transfer window slams shut in around two weeks.
The Reds need to fill a few gaps before things draw to a close in the market and Forest head coach Nuno Espirito Santo would like a few more players.
On Saturday, there were no new signings in the starting eleven and the boss will be hoping that changes before the window closes.
Things are starting to ramp up and speculation remains rife with Forest linked with a number of players at the moment.
Another winger, a striker, a full-back and a goalkeeper are on the shortlist and it will be interesting to see what Forest manage to get over the line before the window slams shut.

Nottingham Forest asked questions about Jordan Ayew
According to TalkSPORT journalist Geoff Peters, the Reds enquired about Ayew this summer.
Leicester – and Steve Cooper – are also keen to sign the player and right now they provide the biggest interest.
Ayew, perhaps unsurprisingly, does have interest from Saudi Arabia too as he looks to leave Crystal Palace.
The versatile forward has been at Selhurst Park since 2019 when he checked in from Swansea City.
He came on for 20 minutes in the 2-1 defeat to Brentford yesterday and he’s made 212 appearances during his time at the club.
Ayew has scored 23 goals and registered 22 assists in his five years for the Eagles but they will look to cash in on him this summer.
The player has impressed Oliver Glasner during his time at Palace and last season, he called him ‘amazing’.
Experienced Ayew not what Forest need
At 32-years-old, this would represent a negative switch in transfer strategy ahead of the window slamming shit.
Ayew knows the Premier League – and he’s still a capable performer – but it’s fair to say he doesn’t improve the starting eleven.
The player typically operates through the middle but at Palace, he’s often played out wide.
It’s hard to imagine too many fans wanting Ayew over Callum Hudson-Odoi and Anthony Elanga but as backup, he perhaps wouldn’t be bad.
It does feel as though Cooper and Leicester will win this race ahead of any other club and the interest from Forest doesn’t feel concrete.
Hopefully, players will come into the club this summer but naturally, it’s hoped that the ambition stretches further than a cut-price deal for Ayew.
