Nottingham Forest still have a bit of business to do in the transfer window as the clock ticks towards the deadline.
James Ward-Prowse is coming to Forest from West Ham on a season-long loan and other players could be in line for a move.
Elsewhere, Forest might have a number of players they wish to offload, with Emmanuel Dennis and Hwang Ui-jo among the surplus to requirement players.
It had been anticipated that Forest would be bringing a new forward option in today but that might not be on the agenda anymore.
With hours left until the deadline, some news has now come to light of interest in one of Forest’s more popular players.

Newcastle make play to sign Forest star Anthony Elanga
According to Pete O’Rourke, the Reds are going to be receiving an offer from Newcastle for Elanga before the deadline.
Forest lost on penalties to Newcastle on Wednesday night in the Carabao Cup and now the Magpies want a Reds performer.
The £48,000-a-week Elanga signed for the club last summer from Manchester United. He enjoyed a quality first season, scoring five goals and claiming nine assists.
The 22-year-old is a right winger and his blistering pace has seen him quickly become a fan favourite at the City Ground.
Now, Newcastle will make a last-minute play for Elanga with Eddie Howe retaining an interest in the player who he tried to sign earlier this summer.
Forest can’t let Elanga go at this late stage
The Reds can’t afford to let Elanga go at this hour, with very little time to get a replacement sought in time to beat the clock.
Ramon Sosa and Jota Silva have been signed by the club but they are both raw and need time to adapt to life in the Premier League.

The Sweden international has been quality in the 12 months he’s spent at Forest and the Reds would be within their rights to command a massive fee.
However, the club surely can’t bear thinking about selling the player so close to the deadline and it would threaten to derail a positive transfer window for Forest.
Hopefully, this is nothing more than some idle gossip and Elanga will hopefully be in the team when Forest face Wolves on Trentside tomorrow.
