Nottingham Forest were able to keep their unbeaten start to the season going with a draw against Wolves on Saturday.
Chris Wood provided the Reds with the lead but Forest were very quickly pegged back by a stunning strike by the Wolves right-back Jean-Ricner Bellegarde.
The New Zealand striker has made a promising start to the season with Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side impressing in the opening three games.
It looked like Wood had sealed all three points but he was deemed offside to leave Forest settling for a point.
With Forest remaining in the top half after the opening month of the season, here is Nottingham Forest News‘ player ratings…

Matz Sels – 7
Could not do anything with the sensational equaliser from Bellegarde but did pull off a vital stop in the opening minutes to deny Rayan Ait-Nouri.
Neco Williams – 7
Was caught out for that opportunity Ait-Nouri had but was a constant threat going in the other direction.
Nikola Milenkovic – 6
Often found himself chasing the Wolves forward Matheus Cunha with the Brazilian often getting the better of Forest’s summer signing.
Murillo – 7
A solid showing from the Brazilian who was able to make an important block to prevent Wolves from opening the scoring.
Ola Aina – 7
Ola Aina was constantly up and down the left side as he provided Hudson-Odoi with the overlapping run.
With Alex Moreno signing over the summer, he has nailed down the spot at left-back.
Ibrahim Sangare – 6
Was not particularly one for Ibrahim Sangare to remember after he was brought off before the hour mark for Ryan Yates.
Elliot Anderson – 8
What a seriously impressive display from Elliot Anderson who showed exactly why Forest signed him over the summer.
He almost had himself a goal in the second half and proved a constant threat in attack.
Anthony Elanga – 7
Anthony Elanga was linked with a deadline day move to Newcastle United and was not exactly at the races on Saturday afternoon.
A decent performance from the Swede but by no means did he meet his usual high standards.
Morgan Gibbs-White – 9
Some real moments of magic and was denied what would have been a sensational assist by a smart Sam Johnstone save.
Could very easily have ended the game with an assist to his name as he continued to see passes which others couldn’t.
Callum Hudson-Odoi – 7
Constantly looking to create something by getting at the Wolves defence but was just lacking that final pass.
Chris Wood – 8
Constantly dropping deep into the midfield to begin the attacks and doubled his tally for the season with the opener.
After failing to land a striker over the summer, this is exactly the performance Forest fans will have wanted to see from Wood.
Substitutes
Ryan Yates – 6
A typical Ryan Yates display with the midfielder coming in and doing what was asked of him.
Ramon Sosa – 6
Immediately created an opportunity for Williams just seconds after coming on for Hudson-Odoi.
Taiwo Awoniyi – N/A
Came on late and did not provide much to look back on.
