Nottingham Forest defeated Liverpool 1-0 at Anfield on Saturday as an unbeaten start to the season was maintained by the Reds.
Callum Hudson-Odoi won the day with a goal 18 minutes from time but it was a superb team performance on the whole.
A solid defensive rearguard was evident at Anfield and packing the midfield out saw Nuno Espirito Santo outthink his counterpart, Arne Slot.
Forest have to keep on plugging away this season and try to avoid relegation more comfortably than the two seasons previous.

Guy Mowbray raves about Forest star Murillo
The Brazilian defender has been a revelation since he signed for Forest in the summer of 2023 for a fee in the region of £10.6 million.
He was ever-present after making his debut in October last season and he remains a top, top player in the Forest dressing room.
Murillo is striking up a wonderful partnership with Nikola Milenkovic and the hope will be that Forest can improve defensively this season.
Mowbray watched the game for Match of the Day at the weekend and he was very impressed with the 22-year-old.
He told the Forest Focus podcast: “He’s there already, he’s top-level Premier League quality, it was evident last season, to be honest with you. He’s a little bit old-school – I think his stature makes him look that way – but he can play too obviously.”
Murillo will benefit from another year with Forest
It seemed to the whole world that Murillo would be sold by Forest during the summer transfer window as the club bid to meet the PSR requirements.
However, the club stood firm on a substantial valuation and managed to offload other players to make the threshold instead.
That means that Murillo should get another full season playing regular football with Forest and that could work out for all parties.
For the Brazilian it means another season of playing frequently in the Premier League and for Forest, it adds more value to his stock.
Murillo has absolutely everything in the locker and hopefully – along with Milenkovic – he can help Forest to a more comfortable position this season.
