Nottingham Forest had to deal with news of Morgan Gibbs-White’s injury after being substituted against Chelsea, and now another player has joined the list.
Nuno Espirito Santo won’t wany any injuries derailing the impressive start Nottingham Forest have made to the current Premier League campaign.
Danilo suffered an ankle break against Bournemouth and he’s now on course to return around the New Year, whilst Ibrahim Sangare is in the same boat return wise.
Morgan Gibbs-White was the big worry for Nottingham Forest fans after he was substituted against Chelsea last time out.
However, it’s since been revealed that Gibbs-White could be in contention to face Crystal Palace once the Premier League returns, so he might not even miss a game.
Now, there’s something else to worry about for the fans as another player has suffered an injury.

Matz Sels forced to withdraw from international duty due to injury
Matz Sels put in arguably his best goalkeeping display in a Nottingham Forest shirt against Chelsea, so he’ll certainly be hoping he’s not out for too long.
The Belgian was meant to be playing a part in his country’s international break, but it’s been cut short.
Belgium released a statement saying.
“Due to a problem with the adductor, Matz Sels is being replaced in the Belgium squad by Ortwin De Wolf. Speedy recovery, Matz.”
He’s now back with Nottingham Forest and an update will probably be released in the near future.
Nottingham Forest fans react to Matz Sels’ injury
These Nottingham Forest fans, when speaking on X, all shared how worried they are about the injury Sels has suffered.
One fan even brought up the potential injury lay-off, with a tear high on the adductor tendon typically seeing a recovery time of approximately 12-16 weeks, if that’s what he’s done (Carl Todd Clinic).
“12-16 weeks if bad.”, @IcyyGB said.
@Keith_M_UK has his fingers crossed: “Just call it his thigh muscle… probably just a precaution… lets hope! #NFFC.”
@phillycurlywigs stated: “Hopefully not real bad or could be out a while.”
@ForestNotSoMag said: “Oh my….”
“He looked more than fine Sunday, on a real note hope he’s fine, kept us in the game Sunday and realised how much the fans appreciate him. #nffc #NFFC.”, @IsaacRobbo2008 said.
“NFFC have inspected the injury and it wasn’t as bad as initially thought, Matz Sels will be forced to retire.”, @bradjahunt took it to new extremes with his response.
