Nottingham Forest face a tough challenge in the Premier League up next against Crystal Palace, and the referee has now been announced.

Nuno Espirito Santo has masterminded a push to tenth in the table at Nottingham Forest, and many fans may now be eyeing a European spot if things continue.

The next three games are very winnable, with Crystal Palace, Leicester City and West Ham United all on the agenda, so the opportunity is there.

However, beyond those three are clashes with Newcastle United and Arsenal.

There’s no doubting that Nuno Espirito Santo could be the man to pull of an upset, especially as the Reds have already beaten Liverpool at Anfield.

Interestingly, the Premier League have announced the referee for the Crystal Palace clash, and he’s a good omen for Nottingham Forest.

Murillo’s foul and Anthony Elanga’s penalty incident against Fulham left a sour taste, and now FA sanctions against Nottingham Forest are flying left, right and centre.

However, the Premier League have been nice to Nottingham Forest with their latest referee appointment for gameweek eight.

Tim Robinson will be the man in the middle, with his officials Tim Wood and Craig Taylor.

The fourth official is Michael Salisbury, and on VAR will be Darren England and his assistant Darren West.

Tim Robinson is actually looking like a good omen for Nottingham Forest.

The last four games refereed by Robinson involving the Reds have all been wins, with the latest win coming against Manchester United in December of 2023.

Forest also beat Chelsea last season at Stamford Bridge under his watch, as the only other Premier League game in which Robinson has refereed us in.

In terms of Crystal Palace, Robinson has refereed four of their matches in his career, of which they’ve only won one and lost the rest.
