The wait for Premier League football to return following the latest international break is almost over for Nottingham Forest fans.
Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side do, however, have to wait until Monday night to get their league campaign back underway.
The Reds will be welcoming Crystal Palace to the City Ground as Forest eye their first home win of the season.
It has been a shaky start to the 2024/25 term at home for the Reds with Forest only able to return two points from their opening three games on home soil.
But it seems the Palace manager Oliver Glasner is going into the game on Monday fully aware of the threats which Forest could provide them.

Which Nottingham Forest players Oliver Glasner is wary of
Ironically, Palace are coming into this game looking for their first win in the league this season whilst Forest eye their first win at home.
Last time out, Fulham manager Marco Silva shared his admiration for the Forest attackers ahead of their win at the City Ground.
And it seems as if the visiting side ahead of Monday night will also be prepared for the threats which they are set to face.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Glasner admitted there are six players, in particular, which have impressed him under Nuno.
“They kept the squad and had some very good signings with Milenkovic in the defence, Selz, great goalkeeper, and so they have a lot of pace with Elanga and Hudson-Odoi,” he said.
“They have Awoniyi, they have Wood. A clear number nine and very physical. And yes, they’ve had a good start into the season with many draws.
“I watched the game at Chelsea. So they could lose, but at the end, they also could win, so they will be the next challenge but Premier League. I’m here now for eight months and we didn’t have an easy game so it’s always perform to your best level.”
Morgan Gibbs-White injury latest
With the game not until Monday night, Nuno’s press conference will be held later on Friday as fans await the latest injury news.
But the signs are not looking great when it comes to one of Forest’s top players in Morgan Gibbs-White.
Earlier this week, Gibbs-White was spotted wearing a protective boot and crutches in a social media post from his partner.
And then there was no sign of Gibbs-White in a recent Forest training video to emerge out of the club.
However, Elliot Anderson was in fine form for England U21s this week and this will likely provide the youngster with an opportunity to show his ability from a more advanced role.
