Nottingham Forest now moves into eighth in the Premier League after a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace, but Adrian Durham wasn’t too happy with one player who he accuses of diving.

Morgan Gibbs-White’s absence wasn’t too evident as Elliot Anderson put in one of his best displays of the season, connecting play and even going on a few mazy runs.

Alan Smith described Anderson’s run in the first half, when he took on three or four players and got a shot away, as a Lionel Messi-type run.

Nottingham Forest are now set to face Steve Cooper‘s Leicester City up next in the Premier League, which has the makings of a tasty encounter.

However, TalkSPORT man Adrian Durham wasn’t too pleased with one Nottingham Forest man, as he accused him of diving and said he was ‘bad’ at it.

Nottingham Forest had a number of impressive performers against Palace, with Chris Wood grabbing the goal, Anderson creating things and Nikola Milenkovic keeping things tight at the back.

However, it was the supposed diving of one player that caught the eye of Adrian Durham.

When talking on X, the TalkSPORT man accused Ryan Yates of diving during Forest’s clash with Crystal Palace, which seems slightly harsh.

Yates does go down easily at times, but he mostly gets rewarded for it from referees, so you can’t really have a go at him for one of the times it doesn’t come off.

Ryan Yates has gone up a level this season at Nottingham Forest

Ryan Yates has often led from the front with his performances in the Premier League this season, with his display against Chelsea the prime example as he kept Enzo Fernandez and Cole Palmer under wraps.

Interestingly, Yates has had that much of an influence at Forest that they’ve set up a program specifically to target youngsters coming through the ranks who can replicate his career.

Nuno Espirito Santo has found a player in Yates who he can really rely on and trust in key moments.

Don Hutchinson has even given Yates the new nickname of ‘cockroach’ because of how much of a pest he is for the opposition.
