Nottingham Forest claimed a huge three points against Crystal Palace last night to climb up the Premier League table.
Forest had to dig deep to overcome the Eagles who arrived on Trentside looking for a first victory in the league this season.
Matz Sels stood firm for Forest making seven saves during the contest and at times it felt like the team were indebted to him.
The man in red-hot form at Forest is Chris Wood and he was praised once again by Ally McCoist after his fifth goal in eight games this season.
His goal last night came courtesy of an error from Dean Henderson but he will definitely take it after missing a couple of other chances.
A couple of intriguing names were on the team sheet for last night’s opposition from a Forest perspective.
Obviously there was Henderson but Eddie Nketiah was talked out of a move to Forest by Oliver Glasner in the summer and it was a chance to see him in action.

Eddie Nketiah struggled against Nottingham Forest
Nketiah had a bit of a frustrating night against Forest as he finally received a chance to play through the middle as a striker.
At £30 million it’s perhaps alarming that he’s not yet scored a goal for Palace in the Premier League this season.
Nketiah is 25-years-old and that can’t really be described as young anymore and he really needs to be taking his career to the next level now.
Forest also tried to sign Santiago Gimenez but in the end, the club decided to save their money during the summer.
Who Scored showed that Nketiah touched the ball just 31 times during his 65 minutes on the pitch last night which was only two more touches than Henderson who played in goal.
Sofa Score has him down as giving possession away 10 times, whilst his shots were somewhat erratic at best.
Forest got lucky escape with Nketiah
Nketiah might come good for Palace but with Forest showcasing a more savvy approach to transfers this isn’t one that would have made a deal of sense.
The player is already seemingly struggling to prove himself at Palace and he does look like a player who was never considered the first choice at Arsenal.
If Forest do eventually pay £30 million for a striker, it needs to be someone who can come in and make an immediate impact at the club.

Nketiah was never going to be that player and last night Forest fans got a front-row seat to discover exactly why.
With Wood banging them in right now, the club’s pursuit for a new striker might be on the backburner for a little while.
When the time does come to push the boat out, hopefully Forest can land a striker with more potential and ability than Nketiah showcased last night.
