Nottingham Forest have enjoyed an impressive start to the season, which naturally means that clubs are going to start looking at your players.

Nuno Espirito Santo has been very clever with his transfer business, scouting out gems in the rough that are available at cheap prices.

Nikola Milenkovic is the perfect example of that after joining for £12 million.

Interestingly, Nottingham Forest actually scouted Milenkovic out specifically to fit next to Murillo at the heart of the defence, and it’s worked magnificently so far.

He isn’t the only one, as a late PSR deal for Elliot Anderson has also worked out well.

However, it’s a different player who is now attracting interest from the likes of AC Milan and AS Roma.

Interestingly, Newcastle have already submitted an interest in Milenkovic after his impressive start, but he’s not the one on the radar of these two giants.

Ola Aina‘s contract is set to expire in the summer of 2025, which has put clubs on red alert.

However, Aina is supposedly in talks with Forest over a new deal, which could fend off interest.

Now, according to AS Roma Live (as per Sport Witness), AC Milan and AS Roma have Ola Aina on a list of potential targets at left-back.

It’s also stated that given his contract situation, the Italian clubs think they can sign him for a cheap price.

Ola Aina’s time at Nottingham Forest this season

Ola Aina has quickly become one of the guaranteed starters for Forest, recently displaying his versatility to be able to operate at right-back under Nuno.

Ian Wright has already shared how amazed he is by Aina this season, calling him ‘excellent’ for his impressive display against Liverpool.

The Nottingham Forest defender did enjoy a spell out at Torino, so he’ll know the surroundings out in Italy and that could play a big part.

However, it appears as if the Reds are clearly trying to tie him down to a new deal, it just depends whether he’d rather swap life at the City Ground for the Champions League.
