Nottingham Forest have been offered fresh hope by a familiar face as he recently made an interesting admission on his future over in Holland.
Nuno Espirito Santo shouldn’t have too many worries about any of his key squad members departing in the summer, as results so far have given them every reason to want to stay at Nottingham Forest.
Murillo is the subject of major interest from almost every big club in Europe, with Real Madrid, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United all keeping an eye.
However, the power is very much in Forest’s hands after slapping a £70 million price tag on him, with PSR issues potentially putting some clubs off.
There will also be incomings, and Jamie Gittens, who currently plays his football at Borussia Dortmund, has been linked with a move to the City Ground.
However, it’s a different player who has recently made an admission after Forest tried to sign him during the summer transfer window.

Santiago Gimenez makes interesting admission on his future
Santiago Gimenez is a name that Nottingham Forest fans will be very familiar with from the summer pursuit that went back and forth for what seemed like an age.
Interestingly, Gimenez rejected a move to Nottingham Forest in the summer, just as things were looking positive, and he may now be regretting it.
Speaking to 1908.nl, the striker revealed his hopes for the future and how he still dreams of playing in one of Europe’s top five leagues.
“From the moment I came here I was told, and I saw, that this club trains and sells players. I have seen it in the last transfer window, where 15 players have been sold.
“That also gives you the confidence that if you do well, your dream of playing in the top five leagues in the world will come closer. I know that can happen at some point, and I try to train hard every day. We’ll see what happens.”
Santiago Gimenez’s season to date at Feyenoord
Santiago Gimenez, who has been hailed as a ‘superstar’, suffered a thigh injury in September and is set to return around December time.
The striker scored four goals and assisted twice in seven appearances prior to his injury. This came after a 26 goal and eight assists campaign last time round.
It’s clear that he has the quality and potential to succeed at a high level.
Nottingham Forest currently have Taiwo Awoniyi and Chris Wood battling it out for a starting spot, and the latter is dominating that battle, scoring seven goals in nine games.
But, if Wood was to get injured then someone like a Gimenez would be perfect to step in, as a more reliable source of goals.
