Nottingham Forest have a decision to make on two players ahead of the January transfer window, with their contracts set to expire in the summer.
Of course, making signings in the January transfer window is always important and every Nottingham Forest fan wants to see their side get busy, but the outgoings are also just as important.
There have already been links involving Murillo, as Liverpool look to him as a potential long-term replacement for Virgil van Dijk.
Newcastle have also registered an interest in signing Nikola Milenkovic after his impressive start to life in England, but any deal for a key star is unlikely to be done.
But, there are two players at Nottingham Forest whose futures probably won’t extend beyond the summer at the very latest.

Nottingham Forest players whose deals expire in the summer
Nottingham Forest have four players whose deals are set to expire in June.
Chris Wood and Ola Aina are the obvious ones, with Nottingham Forest working hard to seal new deals for the pair of them ahead of January.
Harry Toffolo and Willy Boly are the other two names.
Meanwhile, James Ward-Prowse’s loan deal will expire and it doesn’t look as if it’ll be made permanent given his start to life at the City Ground, not that there is a clause anyway.
Harry Toffolo

Harry Toffolo has been in and out of the Nottingham Forest squad this season, appearing in just 36 minutes of action.
He wasn’t even used in the Carabao Cup game against Newcastle, which you would think was his best opportunity of enjoying a start.
He’s appeared 51 times for Forest after joining in 2022.
Toffolo’s contract is up in June and there have been no talks about a new deal, which doesn’t come as a surprise due to already having Alex Moreno, Neco Williams and Ola Aina who can all play at left-back.
January may just be the last chance to secure any fee for the defender.
Willy Boly

Willy Boly is a player Nuno Espirito Santo knows well from his time at Wolverhampton Wanderers, having played a part in getting the Old Gold promoted to the Premier League together.
He’s an experienced member of the squad and quite a respected member behind the scenes, but his chances on the field have been few and far between.
He started the first game of the season and played one minute in the follow up fixture but hasn’t appeared since in the top-flight.
Nikola Milenkovic and Murillo have already established themselves as the first choice centre-back pairing at the City Ground, so the cup seems like the only option for minutes.
However, it’s not as simple as that, as Zach Abbott, Morato and Andrew Omobamidele are also waiting in the wings, and youthfulness is on their side.
Given there have been no signs of contract talks thus far, a January exit could be likely should Nuno decide it’s better to raise some funds.
