Nottingham Forest might have started the Premier League campaign in some style but the work never stops behind the scenes.
With January set to be quickly on the horizon, Forest are already starting to be tentatively looking towards new recruits for the mid-season window.
Mathys Tel has been linked with Forest from Bayern Munich and another attacking player could definitely be on the radar for the Reds.
Elsewhere, there will come a time when Forest do sign a new goalkeeper but for now, Nuno Espirito Santo appears happy with Matz Sels between the posts.
Forest are fifth in the Premier League and with that comes a certain degree of expectation which could see the club try and strengthen further in January.

Chris Rigg wanted by Nottingham Forest
One transfer rumour that did the rounds last weekend linked Forest to Sunderland wonderkid Chris Rigg.
The 17-year-old is a wanted man and his sparkling performances have led to him being raved about by captain Luke O’Nien.
He claimed that Rigg makes his teammates ‘look silly’ in training and there looks to be a really big future on the cards for the youngster.
Rigg looks almost certain to join a bigger club than Sunderland at some stage but with the Black Cats flying high in the second tier the hope be that he can help the club win promotion first.
Rigg typically operates through the middle of the pitch either as a number 10 or as a more conventional central midfielder.
Forest will find it hard to sign Rigg from Sunderland
The Reds fan base would be wise to temper any excitement there might be when it comes to potentially signing Rigg.
TBR Football transfer guru Graeme Bailey believes that Forest are not in for Rigg – stating that a much bigger club looks to be on the cards for him.
He told Nottingham Forest News: “I’ve never heard Forest for Rigg to be honest. No offence to Forest but I’d be very surprised if they’re in the reckoning for him.
“The same with Palace. I think he’s beyond you at this stage again. No offence but I think he’s gonna have his pick of Europe.”
Forest in the market for the right type of players
Rigg – valued at £30 million – might be a tricky signing to complete but ultimately this is the sort of market Forest should be shopping in.
It would appear that the days of signing players way beyond their best and looking for one last payday are a thing of the past.
With the recruitment team working hard behind the scenes, they have the backing of the fan base – and probably Nuno – to get things right in January.
Last season, the mid-season window was a complete disaster and whatever happens, the club needs to make sure that the only players added are quality ones who can contribute in the here and now.
