Nottingham Forest return to Premier League action on Wednesday as the Reds travel to play reigning champions Manchester City.
The Etihad Stadium awaits Forest as the team looks to build on a 1-0 win over Ipswich Town over the weekend.
Chris Wood equalled the 24 Premier League goals scored by Bryan Roy against the Tractor Boys and he now has his sights on going outright top.
Nuno Espirito Santo praised his defence after the win and he will be delighted to see the team sitting sixth in the Premier League.

Nottingham Forest team news vs Manchester City
Thankfully, it’s very much as you were going into this one.
Anthony Elanga was only fit enough for the bench on Saturday with Jota Silva coming in for his first Premier League start.
There are no suspensions for Forest to contend on Wednesday, whilst everyone came through the Ipswich game seemingly unscathed.
Danilo remains injured, with Ibrahim Sangare also considered a long-term casualty.
Nottingham Forest’s predicted XI to play Manchester City
We think changes will be on the horizon here as Espirito Santo looks to combat the threat of City.
Against Liverpool earlier in the season, the Forest head coach went with four central midfielders and something similar here wouldn’t be over-surprising.
Forest can relax a little bit for this game with 22 points on the board, although with City struggling Espirito Santo will want his team to still have a go.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 6 | 13 | 6 | 4 | 3 | 16 | 13 | 3 | 22 |
The defensive resolution has been a quality attribute in Forest’s success this season and we anticipate one change at the back.
Neco Williams did well at the weekend but we anticipate that Alex Moreno will come into the team in the first change.
We think the team will still have a 4-2-3-1 sort of feel to it but the personnel will allow Forest to essentially drop into a 4-4-2 out of possession.
The other two changes made, in our view, will see Anthony Elanga come in on the right for Jota Silva.

Darren Fletcher was disappointed with Silva on Saturday and he perhaps hasn’t done quite enough to earn another start in this one.
The other could see Nicolas Dominguez come back into the fray and he is likely to replace Callum Hudson-Odoi who might be used as an impact player in this one.
Espirito Santo might shock us all and deploy a more forward-thinking approach.
However, as bad as City have been of late, it’s highly unlikely that Forest will head to play such a formidable team and have all of the possession.
