Nottingham Forest have made a fine start to the 2024/25 Premier League campaign.
The Reds beat Aston Villa on Saturday to climb to fourth in the Premier League table above the reigning champions Manchester City.

Nuno Espirito Santo was hailed by Jamie Redknapp after the latest victory and under the head coach, Forest have really gone to another level.
The Portuguese incumbent is busy changing the perception of Forest and Gary Lineker has already backtracked on his early-season prediction.
Forest have had a number of top performers during the current campaign with Gary Neville a big fan of Elliot Anderson.
He’s not the only player to have caught the eye though and it would appear that some players are set to be rewarded by the club with new deals.
One of those is Ola Aina but there is another star man who is now being eyed for an extension by the powers that be at Forest.

Nottingham Forest set to give new contract to Chris Wood
The star striker has been the main man this season, scoring 10 goals from 16 appearances leading the line for Forest.
The 33-year-old will be out of contract next summer and the Daily Mail believes that talks have started over a new contract for Wood at Forest.
It might not be as straightforward as first anticipated, however, with Wood earning close to £100,000-a-week after bonuses.
That said, there is no cap behind the scenes at Forest when it comes to players over a certain age only being given contracts of a certain sum.
Wood will be able to discuss a deal with overseas clubs at the turn of the year and Forest want to make sure they tie their striker down to a new deal in the near future.
Chris Wood in numbers this season
The striker has defied the odds and after scoring 15 goals in all competitions last season, he’s proved that he’s still got what it takes at this level.
Wood has rewarded Espirito Santo for showing faith in the talisman and he continues to produce the goods at the top end of the pitch.
| Chris Wood in numbers 2024/25 | Total |
| Appearances | 16 |
| Goals | 10 |
| Goal conversion | 36% |
| Minutes per goal | 124 |
Against Villa, VAR robbed Wood of goal number 11 for the season after judging that Anthony Elanga was actually in an offside position when setting up the goal.
Wood has done more than enough to earn a new deal, however, and it’s unthinkable that Forest would let the New Zealand striker walk away for free at the end of the season.
