Nottingham Forest are on the lookout for a striker in January, and Yuri Alberto has just given an ultimatum to Evangelos Marinakis.
Nuno Espirito Santo has given Nottingham Forest fans an early Christmas present by making Champions League football a distinct possibility.
This is a position that no Nottingham Forest fans would have ever imagined at the start of the season.
However, it’s vital the Reds make the most of their promising position as they look to achieve Evangelos Marinakis’ dream of securing European football.
One thing that will have a big say in how Forest fare in the second half of the season will be the January transfer window, with Yuri Alberto a potential addition.

Yuri Alberto tells any suitors to place a bid for him in January
Yuri Alberto has been linked with a move to Nottingham Forest in January.
The striker situation is something that Forest need to sort out, with Taiwo Awoniyi the only other option outside of Chris Wood, which could come back to bite them.

Interestingly, the striker has been receiving messages from Memphis Depay ahead of January (as per UOL).
“I’m very happy here, we know that I have a contract until December 2027. I’m living my best moment here, Memphis [Depay] is also sending me a lot of messages: ‘Gee, stay, because next year we’re going to win titles.”
He also sent an ultimatum to any suitor.
“I have a big dream of playing in Europe, and as I said: I will only leave here if the proposal is good for me, the proposal is good for Corinthians, both sides liked it, it will be positive for Corinthians.”

Yuri Alberto could rival Chris Wood
Chris Wood has been simply sensational this season, but so has Yuri Alberto.
The Brazilian has scored 31 goals and laid on seven assists in 57 games, which is an astounding record.
Of course, he’s not got the experience of playing in the Premier League, but he’s currently at Murillo’s former club Corinthians, so if he’s anything like the centre-back then he’s well worth the punt.
Perhaps the only concern would be whether he’s happy to potentially take up a place on the substitutes’ bench, as Wood likely won’t be dropped unless he suffers an injury.
