Nottingham Forest will be looking to strengthen their bid for a place in the Champions League in the January transfer window.
Murillo’s injury will no doubt have caused concern prior to kick-off against Everton, as he was forced out of the starting lineup.
However, Murillo came out after the game and played it down a bit, though it remains to be seen as to how long he could possibly be out for.
Nottingham Forest have the likes of Nikola Milenkovic and Morato, who played fantastically together against the Toffees, which will have given Nuno Espirito Santo some hope.
Interestingly, it appears as if reinforcements are already being eyed in the defensive third ahead of January, as two names have appeared.
Nottingham Forest eyeing Ben Godfrey and El Hadji Malick Diouf
Ben Godfrey has experience in the Premier League from his time at Everton, though it didn’t exactly go to plan there and he was liable to making mistakes.
Meanwhile, El Hadji Malick Diouf is a very versatile player who can play at left-back, as well as various positions in midfield, just like Ola Aina.

The Daily Mail are now reporting that Nottingham Forest have two defenders on their watch list, and they are Ben Godfrey and El Hadji Malick Diouf.
However, it does suggest that there are other names on the list too, but they’re not mentioned.
Where do Forest need some cover?
Well, Ola Aina, Alex Moreno and Neco Williams are the only real options at left-back and right-back for Nottingham Forest, so there’s naturally room for another there.
There’s potentially room for another high quality centre-back in the event of an injury, as Morato, Murillo, Milenkovic and Willy Boly are the current options.
It could all come down to budget, as Forest won’t want to spend a bucket load with their policy.
The likes of Diouf and Godfrey aren’t likely to break the bank at all in January, so they do seem realistic.
