Another Nottingham Forest player is now attracting the interest of a Premier League club.

Nuno Espirito Santo‘s fine start to the season as Nottingham Forest boss has its drawbacks, as just about every club in Europe is taking an interest in players.

The Reds find themselves third to Liverpool and Arsenal in the Premier League at the halfway point of the season, which is an incredible achievement for a team many tipped to go down.

Forest have already started to work on a new deal for Ola Aina given his impressive performances this season, and a new deal for Chris Wood could follow too.

Interestingly, it appears as if another Nottingham Forest player is attracting some attention, as Liverpool are coming calling.

Liverpool have sent scouts to watch Elliot Anderson

Elliot Anderson has only been at Nottingham Forest since the summer, but his performances are already attracting plenty of interest.

Alan Shearer has been really impressed with Anderson‘s performances since leaving Newcastle United, as he labelled him as ‘class’ recently.

According to The Sun, Liverpool find themselves at the front of the queue waiting for when Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson becomes available.

It’s been claimed that Liverpool have sent chiefs to watch Anderson’s last six games and they’ve been left very impressed.

Elliot Anderson to Liverpool seems like a long shot

Liverpool could do with a creative midfielder but it’s unlikely it will happen.

Elliot Anderson is a vital part of what Nuno is building at Nottingham Forest, with his influence already there for all to see in Morgan Gibbs-White’s absence.

He’s still young and has plenty of development still to do, so there’s no rush to seek a move.

Afterall, Anderson came to Nottingham Forest partly to enjoy more minutes on the field, so he won’t want to move somewhere where there are no guarantees.
