Nottingham Forest have made a brilliant start to the season with Morgan Gibbs-White one of the top performers once again.
Gibbs-White signed for Forest from Wolves for £25 million and has proved an inspired signing for the football club.
In 2024, Gibbs-White made his England debut and under Thomas Tuchel – and based on his current form – he will surely get more chances on that stage.
The 24-year-old registered five goal contributions alone in the month of December and right now, he’s showcasing his very best form.
Forest have insisted that Gibbs-White won’t be sold this month – although it’s fair to say that his form has alerted some players towards his ability.
As the team’s vice-captain, however, the Reds will be desperate to keep him not just for the rest of this season but beyond that point and into the future.

Forest have asked Morgan Gibbs-White to watch two England stars
Much of the modern game is all about video analysis these days and Forest have tasked Gibbs-White with watching two of his England teammates in action.
According to the Daily Mail, Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka are the two players that Gibbs-White has been tasked with watching to try and unearth more of his potential.
Kane is currently starring in the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich, whilst Saka is currently out injured but before that, he had propelled Arsenal into title contention once more.
It’s quite interesting that Forest have asked Gibbs-White to watch those two players as neither Kane nor Saka operate as a number 10.
Clearly, the club feel that the Forest star can add a number of other feathers to his cap and he has proved his versatility in the team this season.
Gibbs-White can become one of the country’s best players
The Forest vice-captain perhaps does need to nudge up his goals and assist numbers in order to truly become a great but the potential is definitely there.
Gibbs-White is being courted by a host of top clubs but that won’t faze Forest or the player, with the number 10 the type to always give his all in every single game.
It’s great that Forest rate Gibbs-White highly enough to be asking him to learn from the likes of Kane and Saka, which can only bode well.
Forest hit the jackpot when they signed Gibbs-White from Wolves and tonight he will have his former club within his sights once again.
