Nottingham Forest are looking to make moves this month if the right opportunity arises, with Douglas Luiz’s availability sparking an interest.

There have been plenty of links involving Nottingham Forest already this month, but nothing has really materialised as the Reds continue to put in top quality performances.

Nuno Espiritio Santo has built a well-oiled machine that is at risk of being upset should they add the wrong player in such a positive moment.

Evangelos Marinaks has already said he will invest this month, but it’s more of a case of waiting for a player who the club know will improve things to pop up.

Interestingly, one player that Nottingham Forest have enquired about is Douglas Luiz, and there’s been an update on the demands of Juventus.

Juventus set their demands for Nottingham Forest to sign Douglas Luiz

Douglas Luiz joined Juventus from Aston Villa, but things just haven’t panned out for him. He’s appeared just 13 times since making the move.

The midfielder was one of the standouts in the Premier League, making 204 appearances during his time at Villa Park.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Juventus would accept offers upwards of £37m for the midfielder to recoup the fee they paid to Aston Villa.

Fulham, Nottingham Forest and Manchester City are stated.

Do Nottingham Forest need a central midfielder?

Well, the likes of James Ward-Prowse, Ryan Yates, Nicolas Dominguez, Morgan Gibbs-White, Elliot Anderson, Ibrahim Sangare and Danilo are already in Nottingham Forest’s ranks.

It’s safe to say that unless there are departures it looks like a bit of a weird signing.

Of course, he adds plenty of quality and could be pushing for a starting place, but it’s the type of signing that could upset the balance and he’s likely to be on a big wage.
