Nottingham Forest are trying to strengthen their squad before the transfer deadline but on Saturday it will be business as usual for the Reds.
After Forest were battered 5-0 by Bournemouth last weekend, it’s given the team a chance to take stock and get ready for the final 15 matches of the Premier League campaign.
A host of players have been linked with Forest. Matheus Cunha remains the top Forest target but prising him away from Wolves looks like being a tricky thing to do before Monday night.
Another player Forest like is Yoane Wissa. Again though, Brentford don’t want to see him leave the club before the deadline given the lack of time they would have to get a replacement.
This weekend it’s back to the current squad to try and get some more points on the board. Hopefully, Forest can get over last weekend’s trouncing and come out firing against the Seagulls.

Nuno Espirito Santo confirms two Nottingham Forest players are ready to go
It’s been a long road for Danilo and Ibrahim Sangare but it would appear that there is some light at the end of the tunnel for the pair.
Danilo hasn’t played since breaking his ankle in the opening game of the season. He’s worked hard to get back as quickly as possible and did come on in the closing stages of the FA Cup win against Luton.
Sangare hasn’t played since a 1-1 draw against Wolves. He went on to miss the 1-0 win over Liverpool shortly after and although it wasn’t anticipated a serious problem, there have been complications.
Now both players look to be ready to make a return. Espirito Santo confirmed earlier today that a place in the squad won’t be far away for the duo.
He said: “It’s basically the same (as last week). Ibrahim (Sangare) and Danilo are ready; they’ve now joined in with the rest of the squad.”
Sangare and Danilo can be like new Forest signing
It sounds cliched but Forest will almost certainly welcome these two players back like new signings given their importance to things.
Sangare brings something that no other player offers in the squad. His combative nature and ability to play naturally as a number six is unrivalled and in certain games, he will be a huge asset.
Danilo brings that little sprinkling of Brazilian flamboyance to the team. He can pick out passes that perhaps Nicolas Dominguez and Ryan Yates can’t from the centre of midfield.
With that in mind, it will be fascinating to see what roles the pair play between now and the end of the season and it will be great to see both players back in the mix.
