It’s so far, so good for Nottingham Forest this season.
With just under half of the season to go, the 2024/25 campaign has been one to remember for the Reds.
Nuno Espirito Santo has his team firing and Forest are sitting pretty inside in the top four.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |

Signings such as Elliot Anderson have impressed whilst there has already been the added bonus of tying down Murillo amid interest from Chelsea.
It’s shaping up to be an exciting end to the year at the City Ground so, with that, here are three exciting predictions for the remainder of Nottingham Forest’s season.

Nottingham Forest secure Champions League football
Ask a Forest fan if Champions League football was attainable this season and you’d have been laughed out of the Trent End.
However, as each week goes by, the thought of hearing that music blaring out of the speakers at the City Ground gets more tantalising.
Forest have been one of the best teams in the league and have picked up huge results against the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea.
Evangelos Marinakis has allowed the Forest boss to build a squad that could be strengthened in the summer, Marinakis promising Espirito Santo a transfer bounty should they land that top four spot.
Nuno Espirito Santo signs new Forest contract

The Reds appear to be holding off offering Espirito Santo a contract for now, but it feels like it’s only a matter of time.
Espirito Santo is still set for a new Forest deal and deserves it for the impressive turnaround he has overseen in just over a year in charge.
Nobody is better for the job and there is every chance that the 51-year-old could win the Premier League Manager of the Season award if he keeps this up.
It’s hard to imagine another manager in charge of Forest right now and it feels like a matter of when, not if, he signs the contract.
Chris Wood scores 25 Premier League goals
Chris Wood is enjoying an Indian summer in his career as he continues to score goals for fun.
At the time of writing, the New Zealand international has 17 league goals to his name and is four off current top scorer, Mohamed Salah.
It’s a fantastic return for a player who had been written off by many less than two years ago.
Wood has hinted that he prefers playing under Espirito Santo after struggling under former boss Steve Cooper and his record speaks for itself.
There’s 14 games left this season and there is no reason why the forward can’t reach 25 Premier League goals by the time the campaign comes to a close.
