Nottingham Forest defeated Manchester United 1-0 with Anthony Elanga bagging the only goal of the Premier League contest.
The Reds are still third in the division and are going nicely about their business in search of a Champions League place.
There were a number of high profile performers from the win over United.

Forest were forced to do some shuffling of the pack, with Chris Wood and Callum Hudson-Odoi ruled out of the contest through injury.
Elanga was praised by Rio Ferdinand for his efforts during the game but there was one player who was even better than the Sweden international.

Ryan Yates impressive for Nottingham Forest
This was a solid Forest performance for many reasons, with the Reds standing firm against United despite playing 120 minutes against Brighton just three days previous.
One player who really caught the eye of the supporters was Ryan Yates, as he continued to defy those at the City Ground who feel he isn’t good enough for this level.
Yates was given the show of faith by Nuno Espirito Santo, days after his penalty kick sent Forest to Wembley for an FA Cup semi-final with the winning penalty against Brighton.
However, he’s not been starting games in the Premier League and as a result, the consensus was that Nicolas Dominguez might start alongside Elliot Anderson against United.
Yates produced a truly memorable performance against United and it’s one that will surely have earned him another start against Aston Villa on Saturday.

Ryan Yates performance vs Manchester United was his best ever
Yates has done a lot in his career, not just at Forest, but also playing games in all of the country’s top five leagues.
The 27-year-old has earned his stripes the hard way and is currently the one constant in the Forest squad from the team’s promotion from the EFL in 2022.
Yates does divide opinion but this season he’s cleared every hurdle he’s faced with flying colours and shown vast improvement alongside players who are perhaps more technically gifted.
What Yates lacks in technique, he more than makes up for in hear and desire, with every good team needing that sort of player on the pitch.
Yates has had some very poignant moments at the City Ground during his games, but this showing against United showcased that he truly belongs at this level.
The challenge now, is to bring this performance level to the table on a more frequent basis.
