Nottingham Forest are indebted to a number of people for their current exploits in the Premier League.
Steve Cooper was the man who led the team to the promised land, whilst Dane Murphy was the man pulling the strings from the boardroom.
However, one man sits above both of those for credit for the meteoric rise and his name is Evangelos Marinakis.
The Greek businessman is a man of his word. He said he’d bring back Premier League football to the City Ground and boy, has he delivered.
Marinakis wanted to sign a striker in January to reiterate his desire to keep Forest in the higher echelons, and he’s leaving no stone unturned.
Marinakis was at the City Ground on Tuesday night as the Reds beat Manchester United 1-0 and his delight was there for all to see.

Nottingham Forest fans love what Marinakis did after beating United
The Forest owner was sitting in his usual seat in The Peter Taylor Stand and he went ballistic when the full-time whistle went.
Forest shared a video of Marinakis celebrating with a club official and fans are all saying the same thing about him.
Another fan wrote: “What these men have done for this football club can never ever be appreciated enough by any of us, yes it got off to a slow start, but my word has it paid off.
Another fan said: “So lucky to call him our owner.”
Another fan said: “Our king.”
Finally, a fan said: “Got to love Don Marinakis.”
Marinakis will back Forest again this summer
With Champions League football a genuine possibility, the Reds owner will once again go big in the transfer market.
If the Reds do qualify for the top club competition in European football, it’s clear that they’ll need more depth in the squad.
Marinakis won’t be fazed by being among the world’s elite clubs but he will want to make sure that Forest are competitive in the competition.
The owner has delivered on every promise he’s made to Forest and now there is genuine belief that silverware can be won in the near future on Trentside.
