Nottingham Forest are hoping to add players to their squad in the summer, with the Champions League potentially on the horizon for next season.

Much will be made of the signings who could come in, but there will also be some debate around clubs coming in for Forest’s best players.

Morgan Gibbs-White is being eyed by Manchester City, whilst a number of clubs are going to be monitoring the situation surrounding Murillo.

A number of players will be in the sights of other clubs, which is only natural considering the season which Forest have had during the current campaign.

Update emerges on Nottingham Forest star Ola Aina

The Nigerian performer is out of contract this summer, although it’s previously been claimed that Forest hold another year extension which can be triggered on Aina.

Still, Caught Offside claims that talks are going to begin once again as Forest try to tempt Aina into remaining at the club for a little while longer.

Aina has been a complete revelation since signing for Forest in the summer of 2023 after departing Torino on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old spent last season playing as a left-back, but during the current campaign, Nuno Espirito Santo has utilised him as the regular right-back.

Liverpool want Ola Aina

It will be all change at Anfield this summer, with Trent Alexander-Arnold set to depart for Real Madrid, leaving a huge void for the champions-elect to fill.

It would appear, as per the report, that Liverpool are monitoring the situation with Aina intently and could make their own move to land the player.

Aina leaving would be a blow in itself but to lose him to a Premier League rival would be a seriously bitter pill to swallow for Forest.

Hopefully, the club knows what they’re doing with Aina and losing him on a free transfer doesn’t exactly make a great deal of sense given how savvy the Reds have been in recent windows.
