As the end of the Premier League season approaches, Nottingham Forest stars are beginning to be rewarded for their excellent performances this season.
Champions League or not, Nuno Espirito Santo and his Forest squad look set to be recognised for their excellent efforts in securing European football for the club.
In fact, Espirito Santo himself has been nominated for Manager of the Year to emphasise this achievement, although Arne Slot looks likely to pip Espirito Santo to the award after winning the title with Liverpool.
Others, such as Chris Wood and Morgan Gibbs-White, have received their flowers, but one Forest star’s absence from the voting has perplexed fans across the Premier League.

Premier League fans cannot believe Murillo award snub
Recently, Liam Delap named Murillo the league’s toughest defender, so you’d expect that the 22-year-old has been nominated in at least one category, but the Premier League thought otherwise.
Incredibly, Murillo has been left off the Young Player of the Year shortlist, with his teammate Anthony Elanga at least representing the club. This has baffled fans across the league, who have taken to social media to question the call.
One fan said: “Murillo not exist, then?” While another fan added: “No Murillo?”
Another said: “Everyone complaining about Lewis Skelly but the real robbery here is Murillo,” with one adding: “Murillo, Lewis-Skelly & Amad [Diallo] not getting nominated is madness.”
An Aston Villa fan said: “Murillo not being nominated is barmy to me,” as one more fan said: “I think Murillo from Forest should be in there as well.”
Murillo missing out is certainly odd, but there is arguably another Forest gem that should be amongst these talents as well.
Elliot Anderson will also feel robbed by Premier League decision
Also a highly thought of star at the club, Alan Shearer has raved about Elliot Anderson this season as the former Newcastle man establishes himself as one of England’s top midfield prospects.
In fact, Anderson has won the most duels in the Premier League this season with two games left to play making it rather odd that he has been looked over for a Young Player of the Year nomination.
Especially when considering that William Saliba, who has been nominated, is 25 years old, so hardly classed as a young player any more.
Forest fans will be hoping to see Elanga take home the prize as with Murillo and Anderson inexplicably missing out, the Swedish speedster will be winning the award for all three of them.
