Nottingham Forest are going to be in the market for a number of new players with the transfer window now open for business.
The Reds aren’t going to waste any time either, with new signings on the horizon already. Forest have lined up three players from Brazilian outfit Botafogo, with the trio set to check in after the Club World Cup.
Igor Jesus has been linked with Forest for a while, with the striker also courted by Arsenal. He’s going to be bringing two teammates with him in the shape of left-back Cuiabano and central defender Jair Cunha.
Other players will follow those three to the City Ground this month. A new central midfielder might be on the shortlist, and now, a previously linked player has made a big call on his future.

Davide Frattesi makes decision on future amid Nottingham Forest links
The Italian performer has now decided to move on from Inter this summer after an inexplicable snub for Saturday’s Champions League final, where the player was an unused substitute.
Simeone Inzaghi has a lot to answer for when it comes to Frattesi. According to Football Italia, the player confronted the head coach after the final at the weekend to find out why he wasn’t involved at all in Munich.
Frattesi was linked with Forest earlier this year, with the club keen to add a midfielder. Now, the chances of landing the player have probably increased, and Inter are keen to recoup £30 million for his services.
Remarkably, Frattesi’s snub felt awfully cruel over the weekend. He’s made 13 appearances in the Champions League as Inter reached another final but didn’t get a chance to get on during the 5-0 thrashing by PSG.
Frattesi would be quality signing but Forest would have to sell first
Adding a midfielder wouldn’t make a great deal of sense as a priority. Ibrahim Sangare was class at the end of the season, with Nicolas Dominguez, Ryan Yates, Elliot Anderson and Danilo all options in the engine room.
Frattesi would bring some European experience, but at £30 million, it wouldn’t leave Forest a great deal of wriggle room for other signings before the transfer window slams shut.
It was claimed all the way back in March that Forest might fancy £30 million player Frattesi, and this latest spat with Inzaghi could spell the end of his time at the San Siro, with the writing seemingly on the wall.
Whether Forest can still tempt Frattesi to the club without Champions League football on the table remains to be seen, but if they can, the 25-year-old would be viewed as a sizeable coup.
