Nottingham Forest will go in search of a number of players this summer and now, it appears that some things are starting to crank up a little bit.
Forest will look for reinforcements all over the pitch as they enter the UEFA Conference League for the first time next season.
Nuno Espirito Santo has built up a fantastic rapport as the club’s head coach and now he will look to add some meat to the bones when it comes to his squad.
Anthony Elanga is linked with a move to Newcastle but it would appear as though Forest are keen to keep hold of their better players this summer.
Now, the talk is surrounding players coming to the football club and a new link appears to have emerged.

Nottingham Forest want Abdoulaye Doucoure
The 32-year-old midfielder is currently without a club after shunning a new deal with Everton, and according to reports, he’s on the wanted list at Forest.
Whilst the Reds will go in search of new players and those from other clubs, it’s clear the club won’t ignore potential bargains available for free.
Doucoure stuck the boot into Forest’s push towards Champions League football back in April as he scored a 94th-minute winner at the City Ground.
After an error from Murillo, the player raced forward to get on the end of a Dwight McNeil pass and stun Espirito Santo and his players.
Jamie Carragher is a huge fan of Doucoure and called him ‘unbelievable’ earlier this season after some fine form for the Toffees.
Doucoure could be useful on a free transfer
Although a 32-year-old is hardly going to be a signing for the future, the fact that Doucoure is available for free and has experience in the Premier League could make him a useful signing.
Doucoure scored 21 goals in 166 appearances for Everton during his time at the football club and he’d surely welcome the chance to play in Europe for Forest next season.
Forest do have a number of midfield options to call upon, but having another enforcer in the ranks would be ideal for Forest during the next campaign.
It’s not certain how close this transfer is, but it does feel as though this particular deal would be quite easy to complete if Forest chose to do so this summer.
Doucoure has Premier League experience in abundance and on a free transfer, the Reds could do a whole lot worse than land the Mali international this summer.
